OUR STORY
In 1938 on a hot summer evening, a tent revival service was held on the southeast corner of Main and Detroit in Broken Arrow. Such a fire and hunger was sensed through the conversions in that tent that the ministers knew they must start a church in that small town. And with that, the First Church of the Nazarene in Broken Arrow, OK was born.
Following a long history of serving the Broken Arrow community, and moving through several locations as both the church and the community grew, the church settled on its current location near 101st & Elm in 1974. Since that time , God has blessed this fellowship down through the years. There have been times of increase and decrease, times of blessing and times of sorrow. But God continues to build his Church!
More recently, Pastor Scott Moore along with the church board and leadership felt a need for the church to reshape its identity and reintroduce ourselves to the Broken Arrow community. So the church elected to change its name to Connect Church! We have begun construction on a facelift for our building’s exterior, to be followed by interior updates in our Connect Kids area. We continue to reach out and serve our community in Broken Arrow as we have for the last 85 years!
